Sabbath Day

Holy Day of the Lord

We observe the Sabbath, which we believe to be the seventh day of the week begins from friday sunset to saturday sunset as the begins and ends from sunset to sunset, as a day of rest, worship, and communion with God, based on the biblical account of creation where God rested on the seventh day. We see the Sabbath as a perpetual sign of God's covenant with humanity, a symbol of redemption in Christ, and a foretaste of eternal life.

Creation Ordinance: We believe the Sabbath was established by God at the end of Creation Week, making it a universal and timeless institution for all people.

Memorial of Creation: The Sabbath serves as a reminder of God's creative power and His role as the source of life and all things.

Sign of Redemption: We see the Sabbath as a symbol of salvation, a day to reflect on God's grace and the rest found in Christ.

Day of Worship and Fellowship: We gather for church services on Sabbath, focusing on worship, Bible study, and fellowship with other believers.

Rest from Secular Work: While acknowledging the need for some to work for essential services, We generally avoid secular work, shopping,

and other worldly activities on the Sabbath to focus on spiritual pursuits.

Sunset to Sunset: The Sabbath is observed from Friday evening to Saturday evening, based on the biblical account of a day beginning at sunset.

Distinction from Jewish Sabbath: While both share the seventh-day observance, We emphasize that the Sabbath is for all humanity, not just Jewish people.
